Preet Tandi has been appointed culinary development director of Mastcraft Hotels, tasked with developing new fine and casual dining concepts for the group’s property portfolio.

Tandi’s first addition, an Indian street-food concept, will be launched at the Courthouse Hotel in Soho at the end of this year.

He will also coordinate chefs across the portfolio and develop existing offerings.

Director of Mastcraft Hotels, Girish Sanger, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Preet Tandi – his ideas have shaped some of the most interesting, diverse and ultimately delicious creations our city has seen. Our plans for the new concepts in our hotel portfolio will be very exciting… I hope you’re hungry!”

Before joining Edwardian he had been an executive head chef at Madhu’s Heathrow and a senior chef de partie at Nobu London.
